There are many reasons why people may want to stop eating meat for a while. I won’t discuss any of them today.
Today, I want to start a new monthly challenge, after successfully implemented the new habit to wake up at 5:30 every day.
Below, I’ll also explain how you can join it to and how we will support each others to achieve it.
Why?
I believe that not eating meat is healthier and more sustainable, and want to see how I feel after stopping all kind of meat for 30 days.
If I feel great, I’ll continue.
If I feel bad, I’ll stop.
If I feel neutral, I’ll see.
What?
The goal is to stay 30 days without eating any meat,
with only one cheat meal allowed each week.
To make things simple, I’ll base the food I can eat on the vegetarian diet (eggs and diaries are allowed).
How?
Starting from right now, I’ll simply stop eating any food that contains animal meat.
We have a business brunch starting in 1h at the Hustlers Villa, and it’s usually an occasion to feast.
There is meat. A lot of it.
Luckily, our staff is also trained to prepare vegan/vegetarian food for our guests (perks of living in Ubud).
Accountability & Support Group
Being accountable and feeling supported helped a lot to implement the new habit of waking up at 5:30 every day.
I want to scale this for this 30-day meatless challenge.
If you want to be part of it, simply join this WhatsApp group, where we can all share our progress & struggles and support each others throughout the 30-days.
The goal is to find support when it’s hard, share meal ideas, share the streak of days without eating meat, etc.
As for me, the challenge starts right now.
Are you in for 30 days?
P.S.: This is for people who are interested in trying a meatless diet. All form of sterile debate pro/anti meat will be banned.
There are thousands of places where people love to spend time debating.
This is not one of them.
This is for people who want to get one thing done, and feel supported doing it.
