6 months on a remote island.
It’s only now I am going back to Bali for a week that I realize I have been living full time on this tiny island for almost 6 months.
From no water and no electricity, to accepting our first happy guests.
I can’t find proper words to express the mix of emotions I feel about this whole adventure, and about this place.
For me, it’s not just a beautiful paradise island in the middle of nowhere.
It’s the place where, as I physically escape from the noise of the world, I also have no choice but to face who I am.
There is no hiding from yourself, when you can’t burry it in pointless distractions and excuses.
Which makes this island the greatest and the toughest place I have ever lived in.
At this point, I have no idea if I will be successful in building and leading Reconnect, but I really am giving it my best.
I hope to see some of you there soon 🙂🏝
