We start with simple things, learning by doing.
Here is the first gazebo being finished, as well as 2 small local paddle boats we got done by locals recently.
Learning how to work with locals by starting with simple projects is the equivalent of sharpening the sew before cutting wood.
A lot of things work way better with trust and clear communication (here and everywhere).
Spending time with locals, workers, officials and land owners by being there, living with them.
Sharing with them and showing that we want to build a place that will help empowering their community, not taking from it.
Those things take time and dedication, few things that money can’t easily buy.
I am grateful for the path we are walking there and the relations we are building.
It all teaches me a lot more than what I could have expected.
Thank you!
