You know, when you look at the ocean, it doesn’t care about what you want, or what you feel
Sometimes, the water is calm and peaceful.
Sometimes, you look and see deadly waves.
But if you want to sail, you won’t just shout at the ocean, asking for the waves to stop.
You either wait for the right time
or learn how to ride those big waves
You adjust your action based on the circumstances.
When you ride the big waves, you might cross quicker than if you wait
But you might also die on the way
This is the part that depends on you: deciding what to do based on the circumstances
And it’s exactly what you do everyday in your life, taking decisions.
But when facing a situation, we should ask ourselves the question:
Am I learning how to ride?
Or am I shouting at the ocean to stop its waves?
