After bringing Semangat, our dog to the island, and after he terrified the locals and the goats there, we kind of manage to install the satellite connection.

Turns out you need a lan cable port for the setup, and I have a macbook, so.. Now I need to find a dongle.

And before the sun sets, and the rain starts,
I decided to go swimming.

Took a small wooden kayak, packed the snorkeling equipment, and went 250m further, where the water is deeper.

I have no idea where are the good snorkeling spots, and I don’t really care.

I am just happy to paddle around, jump in the water, and look inside to see a different World.

None of those pictures is representative of how beautiful it actually was, partly because those were shot with my iPhone.

Also, I liked to just “be there” looking inside, observing weird looking and cute fishes swimming in the corals.

It’s so quiet there.

I let myself just float around, breathing through the snorkel and letting my body following the current.

When I was done, I went back to the wooden kayak, paddle back to the beach, and took a shower.

The rain started for a while now, and the sounds of the water on the leaf roof is soothing and relaxing.

It’s dark outside already, a local lady is cooking for us and I lay down on the bed, writing those thoughts together to share them with you.

And this, was a working day.
