Too many successful people are completely unable to appreciate the role luck played in their success.

They think it’s all about them.

There is this arrogant movement of people who keep claiming stuff about the law of attraction, about manifesting success, doing what feels right, and other “feel-good spirituality” things.

I was part of this.

It’s true that you need to believe in yourself, to have a positive attitude and to do things you believe in.

But believing that your success only depends on this, is dangerous.

Luck is a thing.

Luck is the combination of everything you have zero impact on in this world.

Which is 99% of everything.

And of course you need to nail the 1% only that you can impact.

But don’t get too high when you succeed.

Don’t start believing you cracked the code, and that you can start selling a $997 course to teach people your secret sauce.

People who keep nailing it are those who stay humble, and approach each project with a beginner’s mindset.

Those who appreciate luck for what it is, all while becoming better and working smarter to keep having the results they want.

That’s why so many people only succeed once.

And then start to feel as insecure as they become self-entitled.

It’s not all about you.
You don’t control everything.

Just chill out and let go.

Focus on the 1%.
