May your soul rest in peace, Om Agil.

One of our first ever workers on the island, Om Agil, just passed away, following a motorbike accident.

He used to drive our boat, was highly knowledgeable with wood, and a very talented speargun fisherman.

As an authentic Bajo, he could dive for several minutes in one breathe, and use a speargun to catch fishes.

We spent several months living with him on the island, and despite a large cultural gap, managed to work together, and almost felt like family.

I wish you all the best in the afterlife, Om Agil.

Thank you for everything you brought to us, whether it was your experience, a few fishes or a sometimes just a smile.

Here I am sending some thoughts for his family, his wife and his youngest daughter, who will now have to grow without a dad.
